The events of the year 2021-2022.

The 2021-2022 academic year has been eventful! Les Tribuns - Nantes have organized more than a dozen events, evenings and various projects: mock trial, stand'up evening, improvisation competition...

And of course, throughout the year, our regular events and projects also continued: large and small sessions, high school project, etc...

Improv competition

The last event of the year was an improvisation contest, which was a real success for its first edition.

Six participants had to improvise speeches during three very distinct exercises, to convince the public; because it was the public who voted to elect the selected in the following rounds.

Once again, it was Juliette Thouément who emerged victorious from the competition, after a fiery duel against Alexandre Langlet.

The competition was also an opportunity to have a good time together by sharing a self-service buffet, and by offering spectators the opportunity to participate in improvisation exercises themselves.

Orashow

The association organized a convivial evening during which ten participants were able to try their hand at stand-up by offering five-minute sketches.

The evening took place at the Micro Comedy Club in Nantes, where around fifty spectators gathered to applaud the comedians and enjoy the show.

The evening was a success, and allowed us to explore another area of speech, while having a friendly and fun evening!

Law Day Contest

The TRibuns organized the Fête du droit competition within the Faculty of Law of Nantes. The theme of the 2022 edition was "Law and Nature".

The participants had to deploy treasures of eloquence to defend their position, solo or in duo.

The winning duo had the opportunity to defend their speech during a national final in Clermont-Ferrant.

Stolen Childhood Trial

Mock trial in partnership with UNICEF.

Jan 26January 2022, the trial of a stolen childhood, a fictional trial on the theme of child abuse, was organized by the Tribunes, in partnership with UNICEF. 50% of the funds generated during the event were donated to the NGO.

This event was a great opportunity to highlight major issues related to child abuse. The company, in the guise of Mr. Socius, has been accused of inaction in the face of forced labor, administrative confinement, and incest.

The fictitious trial brought together nearly 650 spectators, and made it possible to donate €672 to UNICEF-Loire Océan.

Fourth edition of the Best Tribune Competition

The fourth edition of the Contest for the best speaker allowed twenty participants to put their training in public speaking into practice, by offering a speech on one of the many subjects proposed.

Over two evenings, six speakers were selected to take part in the finale in a bubbling atmosphere.

After a week of preparation, the lucky ones selected showed all their talent during duels, each one more eloquent than the other.

Juliette Thouément and Léa Rivière who were selected to participate in the final, where they had to deploy all their eloquence to deliver a prepared speech in just twenty minutes. It was finally Juliette who was crowned by the jury, after a great evening!
